​​Central York Fire Services provides an Open House held annually in both Aurora and Newmarket in conjunction with Fire Prevention Week. The Open House is held at a fire hall in Aurora and in Newmarket on separate weekends. The fire safety message from fire prevention week is the theme used for the open house.
Central York Fire Services will again be hosting two open house events this year the dates for these scheduled events are as follows:

ACTIVITIES:  Morning coffee and donuts, BBQ hotdogs, Tim Horton Express Train, Arts and Crafts, Fire Safety Wheel, Vehicle Rescue,  Fire Trucks, Prizes, Games, "Sparky the Fire Dog", Fire Extinguisher Demonstration, Fire safety information and much more
