​​Central York Fire Services charges fees for a number of services, as authorized by municipal by-laws.
These fees are levied to partially offset the costs for providing some services. The vast majority of 
these fees are related to discretionary inspection services.

There are provisions for charging for responses to false alarms. These fees are levied when a 
property owner fails to take adequate steps to reduce accidental or malicious false alarms. 
Property owners are reminded that IN NO CASE is it acceptable to delay notifying the fire services 
when an alarm is activated.
Cheques should be made payable to Central York Fire Services and mailed to 984 Gorham Street,
Newmarket, ON, L3Y 1L8.  Please note that for File Search letters, a Signed Release of Authorization
from the owner is required (we do not accept an Agreement of Purchase & Sale document).

Fire Incident Reports

If you are looking to obtain a copy of a Fire Incident Report you will need to submit a request in writing to and pay the applicable fee of $50.26 plus HST.  

In your request, please indicate the following: The time, date, and location of the incident, as well as any vehicle or licence plate information that may help in locating the report.
