FIRE PREVENTION WEEK

October 7 - 13, 2012

 

 

WHO:    Central York Fire Services and the nonprofit NFPA (National Fire

             Protection Association), in cooperation with fire departments,

             emergency service providers and safety advocates across the

             United States and Canada.

 

 

WHAT:   Fire Prevention Week, October 7 - 13, 2012

              Fire Prevention Week was established to commemorate the Great       

              Chicago Fire of 1871.

              Central York Fire Services Fire Hall Open House                                                

             This year's theme, "Have 2 Ways Out".

                                                                    

WHERE:  OPEN HOUSE at FIRE STATION 4-1 Newmarket                  

                Saturday September 29, 2012  10:00a.m. - 3:00p.m.

                984 Gorham Street, Newmarket

 

 

ACTIVITES:  Morning coffee and donuts, BBQ hotdogs , Tim Horton Express Train, Arts and Crafts,

                     Fire Safety Wheel, Vehicle Rescue, Fire Trucks, Prizes, Games, 

                    Sparky, Fire safety information and much more.                       

                    Proceeds to support:  "Camp Bucko"
