Junior Firefighter

 

 

 

Nine children, one from each of York regions municipalities, are honored for a day with "Junior Firefighter for a Day" All of York Regions schools are invited to enter a fire safety contest. To be chosen as a winner of the contest, the grade 3 student writes an essay or draws a poster including at least three of the eight Risk Watch© safety components.

Representatives from each of the nine municipalities in York Region have selected their Junior Firefighter. The Junior Firefighter winners will have a day of recognition and Firefighter training along with the Mayor and Fire Chief from each of the municipalities.
