FIRE PREVENTION WEEK October 7 - 13, 2012

 

WHO:    Central York Fire Services and the nonprofit NFPA (National Fire Protection Association),

              in cooperation with fire departments,

              emergency service providers and safety advocates across the

              United States and Canada.

 

WHAT:  "Have 2 Ways Out

               Fire Prevention Week, October 7 - 13, 2012                

               Fire Prevention Week was established to commemorate the 
                                    
               Great Chicago Fire of 1871. 

               This year's theme, "Protect Your Family From Fire" 
                                    

 

WHERE:  OPEN HOUSE at the FIRE STATION                 

                Saturday October 13, 2012  10:00a.m. - 3:00p.m.

                Fire Station 4 - 4,  1344 Wellington Street East, Aurora, Ontario

                                                                                       

ACTIVITIES: Morning coffee and donuts, BBQ hotdogs, Tim Horton Express Train,

                     Arts and Crafts, Fire Safety Wheel, Vehicle Rescue, Fire Trucks, Prizes,

                     Games, Sparky, Fire safety information and much more.     

 

                     NO PARKING AVAILABLE at Fire Station.  
                     PARKING ONLY AVAILABLE at:  Stronach Aurora Recreation Complex
